Layer it! In a quart glass jar you can make a layered Oatmeal Cookie Mix (Mix A Meal Cookbook p.78). Layer a double batch of the Mini Mix, reducing the raisins and chocolate chips to half the amount. Tamp down each ingredient in the jar or else ingredients will not fit in. Include a note for cooking instructions: Combine the cookie mix with 1 cup water. Drop by teaspoon or cookie scoop onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. May flatten with a glass jar. Add cinnamon sugar if desired. Decorate the jar as desired with fabric, ribbon, or trimmings. 
Can Do! Spray paint empty metal cans. Decorate with fabric, ribbon, or other trimmings. Use a square fabric if desired. Put your favorite mix and other surprises inside! 
Bag it! Make a fun bag with fabric, muslin, or burlap. Add applique if desired. Tie with a bow or jute. Include your favorite mix with instructions in a cellophane or plastic bag! |
